The Defender was an authorized publication of the 13th Artillery Air Defense Group which was published on the fifth day of each month as part of the Command Information Program.
Issues of The Defender are contributed by Nike vets. If you have any additional issues, and have the capability to have the pages scanned at a local FEDEX/Kinko's or other scanning services, please send the scanned copies on a CD or flash drive which will be returned upon request.
If you prefer, please send them to the Nike Historian for professional scanning.
For your contribution, not only will the originals be returned to you, you will receive the scanned copies on a CD in pdf format for your future use.
